Mark Morris’s successful commercial real estate career has so far spanned more than 35 years. After graduating Western Carolina University, Mark took a position as an internal auditor with a national bank. His expanded duties included regional credit review and asset management, where he specialized in real estate.
Upon leaving the bank, Mark formed a regional appraisal company. His company and staff performed thousands of appraisals for banks, attorneys, municipalities, condemning authorities, and various institutional clients. They appraised a wide variety of property types, including industrial, mixed use, multifamily, office, residential, and land development.
Concurrent with his banking and appraisal expertise, Mark earned an equal number of years in brokerage experience. In the last decade, he has also been active in the capital markets, serving as an advisor to various institutional clients and high wealth individuals. He understands such products as Credit Tenant Lease Financing, Sale/Leasebacks, and New Market Tax Credits. This knowledge provides potential solutions to the often challenging process of purchase structuring or monetization of assets as a means to facilitate a real estate transaction.
Mark’s umbrella of 35+ years’ experience and knowledge provides value to his clients. His understanding of all aspects of the sale, purchase, development, and structuring of real estate activities makes him the best contact to serve clients and target their objectives.
